The Rector of the University of Salamanca – Ruipérez Daniel Hernández – and José Manuel Fernandes da Gama Person signed the agreement for the Portuguese capital to uphold the third Spanish Language School of USAL.

With this initiative, the University of Salamanca reinforces it’s brand internationally, now also in the neighboring country, as a Spanish Language School, thanks to the use of its skils in all broad and distinct methodological experience. Experience demonstrated by the prestige of its International Courses, which in 1929 set in motion a model for teaching Spanish as a foreign language, adopted by the rest formative panorama of Spanish training of today.

The new school, besides having the curricular experience granted by the International Courses, may expand its training offer both in the field of Spanish certifications, in which the University of Salamanca participates, but also with the set of materials already developed.

The agreement signature was attended by the rector of the University of Salamanca and the franchisee entrepreneur, as well as the CEO and Coordinator of Schools ELE USAL José Miguel Sánchez Llorente and Rubén Ramírez Gutiérrez, and other members of the future school.

Lisbon is the third city to host a Spanish Language School from the University of Salamanca after Cuiabá, Brazil and Strasbourg in France.
